Since I last posted I have been walking out a challenging journey these past few months. I have a few posts in the works to catch up on what has happened between my last post and today. In that time, I boarded a plane and took a ministry trip to Guatemala, I planned my sweet Laura's children's birthday parties and they have been spending couple of days a week at our house to have some summer fun. My oldest child had his birthday and my youngest is getting ready to celebrate his. Plus my husband and I moved his grandfather to the metroplex so that he would be closer and we could assist in his care. Needless to say, that is a busy summer! One of my favorite pastors at church reminded me this past week, " It's not our stride length or pace that defines our walk of faith. Faith is walked out simply one step at a time. Big or small, steady or cautiously. Faith is simply walked out one single step at a time." That is what I am doing, each day I wake up and choose to put one foot in front of the other. Some days they are joyful bouncy steps and some days they are just steps. I am learning to be ok with that.
Oh, and in all of this I still managed to attend a birth! So check out that post and meet baby Collin!
